Success Stories
Zep Sales & Service rewards those who consistently create results while upholding our high ethical standards. Here are just a couple of our team members' success stories…
Sean Diamond, Area Sales Manager
“As a child, I never dreamed I’d be selling soap! I began my Zep career as a sales representative in January of 1999. My goals were to be successful and increase my income. Getting off to a quick start, I sold my way to becoming the Western Division Rookie of the Year in 2000. My sales grew from $79,341 in my first 8 months to $294,109 in my second year and in 2002 my sales were $402,254. I have since been promoted to Field Coach, Field Sales Manager and now Area Sales Manager covering the Los Angeles and surrounding territories.
“I love my current job, but will always be fond of the close relationships I built with my Zep customers as a sales rep. Selling for Zep provided me with an excellent income opportunity and a well-balanced family life. I didn’t have to work late evenings or weekends to be successful. I decided how much I would earn by setting my own goals. Zep is an amazing company to work for. While I enjoy hiring and training new reps and the income I earn, I still treasure my days that I had as a Zep sales rep.” |

James 'Kip' Sorrell, Sales Representative
“I was the first Genesis rep to be hired in San Antonio. I attended my first training class in Chicago, and quickly became aware that a sales career with Zep was for me. Like all new reps, I left school with aspirations of great success. I quickly found that following the daily plan and working hard would ensure my success.
“Fourteen months later, I was voted the National Rookie Of The Year and very few things have made me this happy in my life. Proud of my accomplishment, I went back to my branch determined to make even greater strides. A few months later I was asked to manage new reps and accepted the job of sales manager. At present, I am responsible for four new sales reps that I have enjoyed watching grow.
“For me, every day is a new challenge for which I am grateful. I would not trade my job for any other, I am proud of the relationships I’ve made as a Zep sales rep.”
